We seemed to spend a fair amount of time in airports on this trip.
While we were in China we (as a group) also took a side trip to Guilin. We
met quite a few Chinese people at airports and they were all very nice to us.
Here we are with our luggage shortly after arriving in Guangzhou.
We took this photo of all 6 babies in the Guangzhou airport on our way to
Guilin.
Instead of candy bars the Chinese airports had lots of fresh fruit.
The red berries in the middle of this picture are Leche nuts. They aren't nuts, but
are a citrus fruit that pealed easy and tasted kind of sweet..
The airport also had these packages of dried fish.
Chinese people would often crowd around to see the babies. It was a
pleasant experience because they were all glad to see the babies getting adopted.
These Chinese girls at the Guilin airport were especially glad to see
Lexi. They made quite a fuss over her.
This woman, Lili, was our guide in Guilin.
Often, some of the Chinese people would like to have their picture taken
with the Americans who are adopting Chinese babies. It was a pleasant experience.
Lexi and the other babies were the stars of this show.
