Lexi had bronchitis and an ear infection when we got her. She also
had a slight infection in her finger tips. The doctors put some ointment on her
fingers, wrapped them in gauze and told us to put socks on her hands.
In this picture Lexi was ready to have her left ear cleaned out. She
hated this of course.
These two women were two of the nurses that helped to care for Lexi at the
White Swan clinic.
Lexi received nebulizer treatments for her bronchitis.
Here, Lexi receives a penicillin shot at the Guangzhou children's
hospital.
Xixi comforts Lexi as she recovers from her penicillin shot.
Lexi and the other babies had to undergo a medical exam prior to obtaining
a visa to enter the United States. Here she is being weighed.
This doctor checked Lexi's throat and hearing as part of the visa medical
exam.
Lexi couldn't wait for the visa medical exam to get over.
This is a pirtcture of Lexi and doctor Susan. Susan is a friend of Xixi's.
I believe Susan was the only doctor in China that Lexi liked (no shots, ear
cleanings, etc).
Susan happened to be staying at the White Swan taking care of a Chinese
baby. Xixi had Susan take a look at Lexi before we took her to the Guangzhou
children's hospital for Penicillin shots.
