In Guilin we visited a park that has a natural rock formation. The formation is named Elephant Trunk Hill because it looks like an elephant drinking water. The story goes something like this, the elephant came down to drink some water and found this area to be so beautiful that he turned to stone so he would never have to leave.

There was also another vendor who had this small boat and a stick that contained two large birds. You could stand on his boat and hold the stick with the birds and have your picture taken. |
