Jennifer's Place
There is a little shop within walking distance from the White Swan called Jennifer's Place. We went there often. They mostly sold trinkets, but they also did our laundry and created stone etchings. They also had free supplies for adoptive parents. These supplies were left by parents who had adopted Chinese babies and didn't want to take the supplies home.

| This is the entrance to Jennifer's Place. They finished putting a new exterior on this building while we were in China. | |
| Lexi, was apparently a fan of Jennifer's Place. We bought her baptismal gown at this store. | |
| These black and white pictures are actually etchings. We would provide a picture and they would make a copy of it on a copying machine. They'd trace the outline of the image onto the tablet and then use the metal pointy rod this woman has in her hand to form the image. It is quite impressive. | |
