Restaurants
Adopting Lexi was certainly the most exciting or interesting activity we experienced in China. The restaurants were also an interesting aspect of China. Normally, all of us would eat lunch and dinner together as a group. Our adoption agency organized and paid for these meals. Typically, the restaurants we ate at would put several plates of food on a lazy Susan and we would just eat whatever looked good. Yes, Chinese food in China is different than the Chinese food we have in the US.

| I'm not sure what the "sea-creature looking" piece of meat is in the center of this picture. Someone in our group thought it might be a turtle. | |
| We ate at a buffet that had steamed fish heads with pepper. If you don't believe me look closely at the card next to the dish. | |
